Isatonix: Fourth law of motion

In a retrospect, Sir Isaac Newton formulated the famous three laws of motion: law of inertia, law of acceleration & law of interaction. Now that his successful tenure in this particular field of Science has been but engraved only on books, it is just but right for us, his offsprings, to continue the expansion of his job in revealing the puzzling truth of nature. Thus, we take pride in publicizing the unofficial fourth law of motion, the ever endearing tissue of scientific truth & perhaps the most savagely beautiful form of arts and aesthetics, the ISATONIX!

Meet the pioneers of this scientific endeavor:

My Personal Thanksgiving Prayer

Almighty Father, the very root of our existence;
The fountain of life and the source of all hopes,
To Your bosoms now I humbly come; with adoration,
To mirror my outpouring gratefulness to You!

You have blessed me so much in countless of ways,
Offered me with consolations I am not worthy of.
In the end You showered them all to a sinner like me-
A clear mirage of the brimming love You show.

With my mind and heart in total surrender,
I thank You Lord for my loving and caring family;
For the stable dwelling place where love springs;
For the comfortable life I’m savoring at my earth’s stay.

Now, empowered and inspired by the Holy Spirit,
I thank You Lord for the good health and graces in profusion;
For sending Your millions of angels at my side;
And for the safety as I endeavor life.

I humble myself to You oh Lord;
For not abandoning me, Your child so vulnerable;
For providing me with the strength to pursue my goals,
In my studies and career, in whatever I may be into.

Whenever I’m down and in pain,
When everything goes in chaos and despair
I thank You Lord for the hope that eases
As You enkindle the light amid my distress.

Hear my prayers oh Lord,
As I lift these up in gratitude to You!
For now here is Your feeble son down at his knees,
To You are so thankful for bringing him solace.

Amen.

We love PC!

[ For and by: Tisay. Herald. Al Savior. Jireh. Ati Beth. Glen. Maam Metot. ]
"When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."
We just love Paulo Coelho. Him and his super magical, wonderful, life-changing, compelling, striking, endearing, inspiring, riveting, spellbinding books! Any positive adjectives? Name it! That's how we truly love his works, and the magic of his writings which never fails to alleviate our stress after reading his stories.

Well, I am writing this article not to sell Paulo Coelho but to at least share to everyone how good, or if not, BEST, his books are. There are surely many points in his stories which are really worth of contemplation. If you want, you can also list down the inspirational quotes that you'll encounter as you go over every leaf of these good books by PC.

The image above is the cover of probably his most famous book, 'The Alchemist', which was personally the first book of him that I read. But great as this one, all his other books will equally inspire and enlighten you in the exact same way they hypnotized us.

This piece of writing won't be long. I would just like to tell everyone, that like us, be inspired with Paulo Coelho's masterpieces as you'll soon discover in yourself how these wonderful stories touch the course of your life. =)

Bequeathal Speech: Book of Knowledge

Delivered: February 17, 2010 @ MFNHS Gym

It was roughly a year ago when this same item I am now cuddling was bestowed on me – the Book of Knowledge, which holds with it our pursuit for academic excellence, as long envisioned by our cherished alma mater. It was almost a year ago that I had delivered my speech of acceptance in this same occasion to humbly embrace this crucial responsibility. Now, I am at great euphoria to deliver my speech on behalf of all my fellow seniors-- this time, not another speech of acceptance, but a bequeathal speech. The purpose of which is to hand this Book of Knowledge down to our successors, the juniors.

As we would be leaving the portals of Manolo Fortich National High School, we would also be bringing with us the experiences of both triumphs and plights that we have scribbled in the history of this institution. These fragments of our high school memories will never fail to bring smiles on our faces, as we would reminisce the days of our struggles, our victories, and our defeats; the times that we faltered, immediately followed by our stronger, more determined spring backs - the entire journey that we had jubilantly traveled along the academic arena of secondary education.

Now as we are about to chart our new journey in the more serious grounds of college, we challenge the juniors to take on this responsibility with the same fervor and spirit that allowed us, the seniors, to push through. This is a great challenge that we pose on you - that you may be brave and smart in facing the adversities and tasks that you will encounter ahead (to continue bringing honors to our beloved Alma Matter). May you be models in ethics – of good disposition towards the younger students. May you set yourselves as worthy keepers of this responsibility and carry on with the legacies that the quality products of MFNHS are known for.
May you always keep the jewels of MFNHS spotless and blemish-free.
With peace and love, good luck to all of us; and may God bless us in all our ventures in life!

Welcoming the Next 365 Days

"Lovelife?" Then a long pause. "Give me a break!" That would definitely be the least I would ask for this New Year 2010, the last thing my mouth would utter, or perhaps, one that would never come out from it – eternally never.
Anyways, could it be a bad sign if your explosives don’t burn and explode as they are supposed to be when the clock strikes 12 o’clock at the tail of December – as in New Year?

I did not give the chagrin much of a thought. Instead, I just busied myself with the pleasure of devouring the Double Dutch flavored ice cream which my mother bought for our media noche. And there’s a chocolate cake too, tapioca , and uh, I can’t really recall them all. The ice cream just had a soothing effect for me over the stress of knowing that I still have my term paper to be done and a lot of Math activities to be dealt with.

It’s New Year afterall – why in the world would I burden my mind with so much thoughts? At that very moment, I care least with everything and all, except for the fresh arrival of 2010 at the doorsteps of our house – and of course, the delicious ice cream in my grip.

I became oblivious again with the time. Before I knew it...

"10... 9... 8... 7... 6..."

Here it goes! The usual synchronized countdown of the multitude during this time of the year now reverberates with euphoria in the air – to welcome the New Year! And then...

"5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Happy New Year!"

I couldn’t imagine that within just a fraction of a second, we’ve finally taken the leap from 2009 to the fresher 2010. Just a fraction of a second.Whew!

With the uncooperativeness of the explosives we bought, I just solemnly watched the fireworks in the plaza which could still be visible from our place even if it was too distant from where the fireworks are actually being lit. I just watched from a distance – with peculiar sadness yet with joy, with fear yet with excitement and hope.

That’s all I need to feel now. Hope and love. Knowing that everything would be okay... with my cherished friends and family... and with God and my faith in Him along every undertaking... I am so much at ease now.

What if the 12 kinds of round fruits in the table don’t come in complete attendance? What’s the matter if the explosives don’t burn and glow? I deliberately don’t care now, as long as I am happy with the people I love as I witness 2010’s arrival – that would suffice.
And now a faint curve of smile paved its way on my face, then I murmured: "Maybe that’s why I don’t need ‘ love life’ then..."
I can still gladly embrace 2010, and welcome the next 365 days, with or without this intriguing LOVE LIFE. =)
